As the title suggests, this one is for all the women out there! Only SHE Fitness is the new kid on the block, but the women behind this new fitness studio are no strangers to sport and exercise. Co-founders Natasja Beks-Kartodimedjo and Monique van Eekeren are both experienced and certified Personal Trainers and Small Group Trainers, and, among other things, are also both CrossFit fanatics (which is how our paths crossed). With their very active backgrounds, they decided to create a fitness community for and by women. And so, Only She Fitness was born.

I went to a free trial lesson a couple of weeks ago to try it out. Here are some thoughts:
But seriously. It’s a great studio, with a maximum of 8 women per session. The two trainers are encouraging, knowledgeable, funny, and they create a really enjoyable environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of fitness level (or language)! The workouts gave me a feeling that they were a cross between bootcamp and CrossFit, where you work at your own pace and speed but with energetic trainers who are cheering you on to do one more push up, or lift that weight one more time, and to give it all you’ve got. Overall, a fantastic place to get sweaty and feel good. Afterwards, that is. At the time you might feel like you can’t possibly do one more burpee. But you can!
